- What is your position?
I have been a Formulation Project Manager at PROVA, based in Sarzeau, since 2017.
- What are your daily responsibilities?
Unlike the flavor laboratory, which develops taste, at Sarzeau we are responsible for formulation. When more extensive testing is required, we focus on the product's appearance, texture, and stability (for instance, when there is uncertainty regarding physical or microbiological stability).
We are also responsible for researching new carriers, emerging technologies, and so forth. Furthermore, we develop novel methods to streamline formulation processes and enhance the control of our finished products (e.g., accelerated aging methods, formulation matrices).
- What do you enjoy most about your role?
I appreciate working with natural products. The work is also highly diverse, with no two weeks being the same. We are constantly striving for improvement and exploring new innovations to best meet client specifications. I also find satisfaction when our finished products reach the market and the methods we develop simplify daily operations.
- What is your leitmotif and your philosophy?
My philosophy: to optimally address client requests, always endeavoring to find a solution.
